Beach Preview

Our family just returned from a week at the beach.  Most of my pictures are on my (still packed) camera, but here are a few from my phone.  While we were there, Andrew fell in love with putt-putt.  He was actually pretty good, and we went three different times. 

Las Vegas

 

Joey and I went to Las Vegas to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary in June.  We loved it!  Out of all of the nice casinos, our favorite place to gamble was the dingy Circus Circus.  It was one of the few places that we could find $5 blackjack tables.

Ceasar's Palace was our favorite place to visit.  I have always wanted to eat at Wolfgang Puck's Spago.

We went to the wax museum.

We went out for a really fancy dinner one night. 

Virginia

In June, my sister and I went for a long weekend visit to Roanoke, Virginia to see Meemaw.  While we were there, we took her to one of her favorite places to eat.

Quick Updates

Andrew--2 years, 11 months
*Knows all letters and sounds
*Can often identify the initial sound of a word and tell me what letter the word begins with
*Completely potty trained at school, gets a little lazy at home
*Calls Joey, "Jody."
*Likes to be told 3 things before going to bed each night, and he always tells Joey these things as well: Night night, sweet dreams, Jesus loves you
*LOVES LOVES LOVES to bowl
*Checks to see if his belly is full by raising his shirt up and looking at his stomach

Joey-20 months
*Tons of words-only saying one word at a time with a few exceptions, such as "Roll Tide!"
*Gives kisses by rubbing his face against me
*Hates to brush his teeth
*Can't control the urge to dance when he hears Mickey's Hot Dog song
*Favorite food is watermelon
*Understands everything that we say
*Say "Thant-choo" at the appropriate times without being prompted or reminded
