I was looking back through old pictures and came across this one. It is actually from October 25th. I'm not sure why I didn't put it on the blog because I love it. Andrew is such a happy little guy!

Merry Christmas!
We had a wonderful and very busy Christmas. We started the day at our house where Santa came to see the boys, and Joey and I gave the boys the presents that we had bought for them. Here is Andrew looking at what Santa brought him. Andrew had to open Baby Joey's presents because this is what he did most of the day.

Not a problem, Brother...I know how to work these things!
I loved Andrew's Christmas morning pajamas. Thanks, Randi!

Andrew's Christmas Party
Andrew had his Christmas party at school on Wednesday, December 21st...otherwise known as the day that Joey smiled for the first time. As soon as I can get a good picture of that, I will post it. Anyway, Andrew's party consisted of two of the things that he loves the most--food and books! All of his friends brought books and exchanged them with each other. For food, they had Chick-fil-a nuggets, cheese puffs, fruit, and cupcakes. Here he is shoving some cheese puffs in his mouth!

After studying the icing for several minutes, he devoured his cupcake.
Andrew is probably the only kid in the world who gets upset when his mom comes to pick him up. He is opposite of most children. He cannot wait to leave me for his teacher in the mornings and does not want to go with me in the afternoons. It does hurt my feelings a little bit, and his teachers must think that we are really mean to him at home so he doesn't want to go with us:( When he saw me at his party, he got upset. I guess that he thought I was trying to take him home. This will be the last party I go to for him for a long time because I hate that I upset him when he was supposed to be having fun. Andrew only gets a pacifier during nap time at school, but I gave it to him when he got upset so that he would be able to enjoy his party.

Relaxing and Reading
Each afternoon, Andrew enjoys sitting in the recliner and reading. If you tell him to "rock, rock, rock," he will flail his body as hard as he can to make the chair move while he reads. This does distract him from his book, though because he gets so tickled. He has two current favorite books, and he must have both of them in the chair. They are "How Does a Dinosaur Love His Cat?"-a longtime favorite, and a new addition, "How to be a Mighty Warrior for God." As you can tell, he likes a little variety in his literature:)

Cookies
Baby Joey and I made these cookies for Andrew's class party tomorrow. I love that Andrew is getting old enough for me to do fun mom things like this! I did make Andrew one, but it is on the other tray. Hopefully, I will get to go to his party tomorrow and take a lot of pictures.

Chocolate Pie
1 month
Joey turned one month on Wednesday, December 7th! We love this little guy so much! Some of Joey's favorite things are:
Stretching
Being held next to Mama's neck
Sitting in his vibrating bouncy seat wrapped up in a blanket
Joey is doing really well. He normally wakes up twice during the night. Sometimes, it takes about an hour to get him back to sleep at night, so we are going to work on that. He is still eating breast milk only. He does not mind baths, but he does not seem to enjoy them. However, he loves to get his hair washed. When he gets mad, his whole face turns very red. His dad calls him a tomato. I like to call him my little turtle because of the way that he pops his head up at me when I am holding him. He is pretty good when we ride in the car as long as he has a pacifier. It's hard to believe that our little buddy is already a month old!
